Workshop: Level I

Consider this your first introduction to everything
Copic. If you find yourself wondering what papers to
use, what ink, what end to use? Then this class is
the first logical step. This class is even for those
who aren't sure about these markers, and maybe just
want to try them out! You will use the store's
markers to get some hands-on experience. You will
colour some stamped images for you to take home and
use on cards, but note that you will not be making
any cards in this class; this is all about the
process! All Supplies Included.

Watch the WOW as you make these for your family and
friends. You will learn several techniques which
include stamping with staz-on and acetate, making
your own designer paper, embossing, rub on's, and
many more. Join the class and see how easy it is to

 From
Sketch to Scrapped NEW!
Instructor: Colleen Heidrich
Class Fee: 15.00 Supply Fee: $5.00
In this class, we're going to take
a sketch (this month from Debbie Gaydos at
www.scrappydeb.blogspot.com and complete a
double page layout in class. The first
thing we'll do is choose papers that'll
compliment your pictures and I'll be there
to help you do that. Then we'll talk about
the design, how you might want to change it
to make it your own and how to simply get
that 2-pager done! You're encouraged to
bring pictures to help you pick your papers
and so that you can go home with something
finished. Remember that the sizes in the
sketch can be worked with or your pictures
can be cropped.
Basic supplies for the layout will be
included and then you can purchase any
extras that night that you might want to add
to your layout as well. I'll help with this
too!

 Inside Out! NEW!

How often has this happened to you: You walk
proudly over to a loved one to show them the
fruits of your labour (a card you have spent
the better part of 2 hours on), they take
the card in hand, they look at the front and
say "Nice!" and then promptly open up the
card expecting something to be inside, alas,
there is nothing but empty white space and
you hang your head in shame. Now imagine
this: You walk proudly over to a loved one
to show them the fruits of your labour (3
cards you have spent the better part of 2
hours making in a fun class with Tobi), and
they look at the front and say "WOW" then
they open it up and say "WOW WOW WOW..." You
walk away with a smile on your face, and
your heart beaming with pride. Decorating a
card inside and out makes all the
difference! Experience with copic markers
and blending (the Copic Workshops are a good
stepping stone) are required to be
successful in this class. All Supplies

Join Shannon for another installment in her
Simply Stylish series. It's polka dot
pandemonium this time 'round. We will be
making six cards all together - two with a
wedding theme, and four for all-occasion -
with a focus on polka dots! You will see
how polka dots add a fresh, whimsical touch
to any card. Add some ribbon, stamps and
embellishments and you will see how you can
create perfectly simple, stylish cards
before your eyes! If you are a beginner, or
someone who loves a clean and simple style,
this class is for you. Come on out to have
some fun and to support a GREAT cause -
Shannon will be donating all of her
instructor fees to the British Columbia
Childhood Cancer Parents' Association (bcccpa.org).

you! We'll be taking a set of We R
Memories papers and matching cardstock to
create a set of 6 cards with leftovers for
you to play with at home. Also included in
the class is a great set of Hampton Art
acrylic sentiment stamps that you'll use in
class and take home with you! All Supplies

 Scrapbooking
Basics: The "How To" Course NEWLY
DESIGNED!
Instructor: Vanessa Sikora
Class Fee: $10.00
Do you have loads of supplies at home, and
have NO idea how to use them? Have you
bought some accessories and tools, but
aren't sure you're using them right, or
getting the most use out of them? OR, are
you an absolute beginner and just want to
jump in and get started? Well then, this
class is for all of you! I will be at your
disposal to help you put a layout together
over the span of 2 hours, as well as help
you with any questions or curiosities you
might have along the way. Included in the
Class fee is the paper you will require for
the layout (1 piece of designer paper, and
two 12x12 solid cardstock), and all supplies
(glue, trimmers, scissors etc), and of
course ME, who will be your personal shopper
and coach every step of the way! Don't know
how to use ribbon? Stickers? Chipboard? Die
Cuts? We will incorporate those mysteries
into your layout. An added bonus: you will
be able to shop for items in the store as
you need them for your layout using your
class discount! Please bring photos.
